About Chaz Fenner
About me
Hi my name is Charles (Chaz) Fenner,
I was born in London and moved to Peterborough in 1979.
I am a proud Father of two, a Grandad of three, and a real family man.
I am a former Auxiliary Nurse at Edith Cavell Hospital where caring was a daily duty.
This has been with me all my life and career so caring for community and people are second nature to me.
My attitude as a City Councillor
I have a passion for hard work and a proactive approach for getting things done and fighting for what matters within the Bretton Community, which is why I stood as your Local City Councillor.
I am available to you at any time.
I will listen to your plight and help where I can. I treat everyone with the utmost respect and all issues, disagreements or objections are held in strict confidence.
Peterborough is a growing City
I strongly feel that Green areas are vital, and we cannot nor should we lose them.
Having the right facilities like Benches and bins and have a delicate residential balance between Households, trees and parking are vital. Getting this balance is however not without its own problems.
My vision for Bretton
I want to see Bretton come together to fight crime, report fly tipping so they are not just cleared but those doing it are dealt with firmly to make Bretton a Better place to Live.
I cannot do this alone. I need your help as a resident of Bretton.
I started over two years ago in Bretton, having roaming surgeries and talking to you directly on your doorstep so I do understand what is important to you.
I want to bring the Bretton community together.
Working and having a close relationship with charities, foundations, Police and all departments of local government to bring the best possible outcomes to Bretton and all of its residents.
Safe communities are important with a visible police presence so let`s have the local Bobby back like we used to in Bretton.
I have and will always continue to do my very best for Bretton.
I have been pivotal in many initiatives from getting the Bretton Centre resurfacing started (which is currently underway and will be completed over a 5 year period) to Reducing the speed limit by the crematorium down to 30mph from 60mph and getting main roads resurfaced… Just to name but a few…
But I will continue to fight for the people of Bretton and things which are important to you.
This is my pledge to you as your City Councillor.
Chaz
